FORT Fundraising

Gastro-Oesophageal Reflux Disease affects many people and has a dramatic effect upon quality of life. In some cases it can lead to more serious health concerns, for example Barrett's oesophagus (a pre-cancerous condition known to increase the risk of oesophageal cancer).

FORT exists to support patients and their families, offering guidance on coping strategies, promoting awareness of the potential implications of reflux disease in order to prevent further problems and educating health care professionals in all aspects of the disease. This important work is entirely dependent upon donations and therefore we, and all sufferers of reflux disease, rely heavily upon the generosity of others for financial support.
